Ever bet on a winner of a horse race or harness race and then lose because your horse lost the race on protest?

Well you will be happy to know that some Australian Bookmakers will still pay you if you had placed that bet with them! That's right, its called ‘Protest Payout' and it is offered by a handful of bookmakers here in Australia.

If your horse is first across the line only to be beaten in a protest, they’ll pay up! Generally available on all Australian thoroughbred and harness races but terms and conditions vary between bookmakers.
